Football Reunion Details - September 17-18

The Huskie football alumni reunion organizing committee is looking forward to a great weekend of reconnecting with former Huskies and enjoyable camaraderie throughout. In this COVID environment, and rising cases in Saskatchewan, one of the events that was planned has, for safety reasons, been moved to a different location. The original plan on Friday was to gather at the Great Western Brewery from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. This has now been moved to Sports on Tap, 2606 Lorne Ave, at that same time of 4:00pm – 6:00pm. We will be offering complimentary finger foods, and a cash bar. Great Western (Original 16) is the Huskie Football brewer of choice, and ask that you support them with your choices. Once again, with rising COVID cases in Saskatchewan, and the health and safety of the student-athletes, coaches, game day staff and the fans, all in attendance at Huskie sporting events (indoor and outdoor) are required to wear a mask, except when you’re snacking or enjoying a sip of Original 16.

Masks will be available at the gates for those who come without. Many of the alumni groups have supper plans following the social at Sports on Tap. With this change in venue for the social, the 1991, 1996 and 2001 groups will stay at Sports on Tap, enjoy supper together, until the 8:00pm clubhouse event. For those in the 1961, 1971, 1981 and 2011 decade groups, please confirm with your decade captain your supper location. Ticket & Package Pick up location is the Graham Huskie Clubhouse.Pick up times are: Friday (Sept 17): 9:30-11:00am and then 1:30pm-4:00pm, and then again 8:00pm onward (must text/call Chris Flory at 403-837-4694 for the late Friday pickup) Saturday: 9:30am-11:00am Outside of these times, you can text/call Andrea Eccleston at 306-260-2575 to make arrangements.

The package consists of: Lanyard and Huskie Football pass name tag for the lanyard. This is your pass for the weekend's Alumni events. We will have sharpies for you to fill this in with name(s), years played, nicknames, etc. One game ticket, 2:00pm Kick-off, Doors Open at 1:00pm
